Arrowhead Subdivision IS Colorado's best-kept secret.  But the
secret is finally out!  Prices are affordable, especially compared
to Telluride and Crested Butte.  And you get so much more for

As a year-round resident of Arrowhead, I choose to specialize in
the buying and selling of Arrowhead properties.  Although I can
transact in all of Colorado, and will gladly help you do that, my
expertise is Arrowhead, 24/7.  Our community is a special slice
of mountain living, with underground utilities, no fencing allowed
or needed due to the thick forest buffering our acreages.  All
parcels are either 3/4 acre or a full acre, some with utilities and
some without.  Arrowhead covenants allow summer camper use,
and there is no time-line for building.  You can literally use your
lot exclusively for camping, parking a camper on it for the entire
summer and fall season, and visit your camper as often as you
wish through the year.  

There is a bed and breakfast, The Inn at Arrowhead, owned and
operated privately and available for your use or for overflow
guests.  They cater to the local clientele and it is a pleasure to
have this business close by.  There are no other retail
businesses at Arrowhead, our covenants strictly protect against

We won't be paving our roads, we like the country feel of the dirt
road access.  We close the roads in the winter and snowmobile
in to our homes from a central community parking lot.  We have
our own heavy equipment to clear the Alpine Plateau Road to
Hwy 50 so you can count on being able to get to town any day of
the year.

The demographics of the community span from younger
residents able to work from home with access to DSL hookup
and satellite tv to retired or semi-retired baby boomers actively
enjoying the snowmobiling, biking, hiking, skiing and day trips to
scenic spots in the immediate area.  The Black Canyon, our own
Grand Canyon, is just minutes from our location.  The Blue
Mesa Reservoir offers boating and fishing 11 miles East.  We
are halfway between Crested Butte and Telluride, as the crow
flies, so siteseeing and winter sports are within an hour or two
ride.  The Switzerland of America, Ouray, is very nearby.
